Your wedding day will come around quickly! It’s definitely exciting, but we also understand that it can be a stressful time with so much to think about and organise. With the help of our Bride FAQ, we can, hopefully, take some of the stress away from you and from your wedding day planning...
Below are a few questions that our brides often ask us. Mostly, it covers schedules, hair and makeup packages, payment and so on..

WHAT WILL THE SCHEDULE OF MY DAY LOOK LIKE?
Our brides are always the last to be glammed up on the day - finishing approximately an hour before you'll be leaving for your ceremony. This allows a nice amount of time for you to get into your dress, have some photos taken and have some time left for a champagne 👌🏼
Prior to Meagan starting on your glam, she and the team will be getting the rest of your bride tribe ready with their hair and makeup. During this time there is usually not a lot for you to do, so you will have a lot of time to relax before it’s your time in the glam chair!
As for the exact time slots for hair and makeup for each person and who goes first etc. We find it works best and always runs smoother if we leave that until on the day or organise.
If you do need timings for people to arrive for their hair/makeup (If they are not staying with you throughout the morning) This is no worries at all! Please contact Mea, Meagan's bridal assistant and we can have that to you prior to the day.
WHAT WILL I NEED FOR YOU ON THE DAY?
We have everything we will need for you on the day, all we require are:
A table for us to work from
Dining chair or similar
PowerPoint
We will let you know in advance if there is anything else we require on the day.
As mentioned before securing your booking, parking fees may apply. If you will be somewhere that requires paid parking we will organise this on your behalf and add it to your invoice, or you are welcome to organise this with your hotel.
WHEN DO I PAY MY REMAINING BALANCE?
The due date of your final payment will be a week before your wedding day.
Approximately, a month before your day, our bridal assistant will be in touch via email to confirm all your details of your booking and send an invoice for your remaining balance all ready for you incase you wish to pay earlier.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIAL?
Ideally, trials are done 8-4 weeks before the wedding day.
Arranging a trial within this window of time works well for a few reasons...
By this time you would have definitely chosen your dress (yay!) and have some photos to show Meagan. This will be so helpful for you and Meagan to create a look that will match in beautifully. Doing the trial at this time also ensures you have a good idea of the look you are wanting to try.
You'll also still have time to organise any last minute things you feel you need or want to have done, for example:
- Haircut/colour
- Hair extensions
- Hair Accessories
- Add products to your skin or hair that will enhance your look on the day
You don't have to book your trial too far in advance for midweek bookings. We have limited availability for trials on weekends (Friday/Saturday) as they are popular wedding dates! These would need to be booked further in advance, and please take note of our weekend surcharge when booking.

CAN I ADD BRIDAL PARTY MEMBERS OR GUESTS?
Yes you sure can, please contact Mea (mea@meaganellise.com) to add or change the number of people that will get hair, makeup, or a package done on the day.
CAN I CHANGE MY WEDDNG DATE?
Yes, however, there will be a $50 transfer fee payable before securing your new date in with us.

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY HAIR/MAKEUP, AM I ABLE TO CONTACT MEAGAN DIRECTLY TO ASK?
Yes, absolutely. If your not having a trial before the day, you may not get a chance to chat with Meagan personally before your day comes around. You are more than welcome to get in touch with Meagan if you have any questions at all.
Meagan is more than happy to chat with you about your hair and makeup goals, although this is often much, much easier and more effective to do with inspiration photos on the day, rather than over the phone or text!
The quickest way to get in touch with Meagan is via text, as when she is not glamming up ladies for their wedding or event, she is in mum mode with her two little ones! But feel free to call or contact het via Instagram also...
